Why wax carving? Jeweller’s wax is soft, sculptural, and incredibly versatile—allowing you to create bold, organic shapes or sleek, geometric designs that would be difficult to achieve in metal alone.
What you'll learn:
How to design and carve your own ring from wax
Techniques for adding texture, smoothing surfaces, and refining shapes
How to build up wax to mimic granulation and other decorative effects
Tips for preparing your wax model for casting
What you'll make: A beautifully carved wax ring ready for casting—whether it’s fluid and organic, clean and modern, or something entirely your own. The wax mould will then be sent away to be cast in silver
